This is an article I wrote for a football blog about Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid in the Champions League. Even with some Real Madrid players missing, the Spanish club were able to dominate their inexperienced English opponents.

With the Christiano Ronaldo Real Madrid experiment in full swing, the 2nd placed La Liga club put four past Tottenham Hotspur and rendered the second leg all but meaningless. In Real Madrid news, Real Madrid vs Barcelona looks the likely Champions League semi final unless Spurs are able to spring one of the greatest shocks in European football history.

If Real Madrid Barcelona is the next Champions League semi final, it will mean the two famous clubs will face each other four times in the closing stages of the season.
